Jen Shipe President & Founder

Hi, I’m Jen — a mom, a teacher, and the proud founder of Wyatt’s Warriors Foundation.

In 2015, my son Wyatt was born with a congenital heart defect. He changed my world in the short time I had with him, teaching me more about love, courage, and purpose than I ever thought possible. When we lost him, I knew I couldn’t let his light fade. Wyatt’s Warriors was born from that love — a way to honor his life by helping other families facing the unimaginable.

Today, I pour my heart into this foundation, walking beside parents who are scared, grieving, and searching for hope — because I’ve been there too.

When I’m not working through the foundation, I’m in the classroom teaching, or at home with my husband — my high school sweetheart and best friend of 20 years — and our three amazing kids: Julianna, Josie, and Beau. They’re my reason for everything.

Wyatt may not be here in my arms, but he’s in every heartbeat of this mission. Through Wyatt’s Warriors, his love lives on — bringing comfort, connection, and hope to families who need it most.

Stacey Harr Treasurer

Hi, I’m Stacey — mom to Bryce, wife to Chris, and proud Treasurer of the Wyatt’s Warriors Foundation. Wyatt is my cousin, and I have been part of this mission since the very first meeting in 2015. From day one, I knew we were building something special in his honor.

Balancing foundation work with cheering on Bryce at his many sporting events keeps life full and busy, but being part of Wyatt’s Warriors remains one of my greatest privileges. Watching how the foundation has grown — and how many families it has touched — reminds me why we started. Wyatt’s light continues to guide everything we do.

Mike Dunn
Mike Dunn Secretary

Hi! I’m Mike. WWF is personal to me. Its founder, Jen Shipe, is the daughter of my lifelong best friend. Her son, Wyatt, was a true warrior. Jen turned her grief into something magical. She and WWF honor Wyatt’s legacy each and every day. The impact WWF has on those families who receive the special – and much needed – WWF care package, during their most vulnerable time, is as special as it gets. It’s an honor and privilege to be part of WWF.

Me: President/CEO of Greater Salisbury Committee. Former President of Salisbury City Council. Former Board Chair of Coastal Hospice and Junior Achievement of the Eastern Shore. Founder of Red, White and BOOM!Salisbury’s 4th of July fireworks celebration. Current Board member of Wicomico County Education Foundation.

Hi! I’m Julianna Shipe, a proud 11th grader and even prouder big sister to Wyatt. For as long as I can remember, Wyatt’s Warriors Foundation has been a part of my life. I’ve watched my mom pour her heart into growing it — turning my brother’s story into a mission that helps so many families.

Over the past ten years, I’ve jumped in wherever I could — from helping at events to spreading awareness in my community. Now that I’m older, I’m so excited (and honestly a little overwhelmed!) to officially serve as a student board member.

Chelsea Boog Board Member

Hi, I’m Chelsea — a mom, baker, and proud member of the Wyatt’s Warriors Foundation board. My connection to this mission began when I learned that my son, Vincent, and Wyatt were treated in the same hospital room at Children’s National — just one year apart. Both were born with congenital heart defects and showed incredible strength during their short lives.

After Vincent passed away at 10 weeks old, Jen and I met, and she invited me to join the board. I knew immediately I wanted to help other families walking this same path. I bring my background in marketing, communications, and business — and my passion for baking as the pastry chef behind our annual Ladies’ Night event!

It’s an honor to serve alongside this team, carrying forward Wyatt’s and Vincent’s legacies and giving back the same love and support that once carried me.

Hi, I’m Tracy — wife to Jamie and mom to five amazing kids: Joslyn, James, Jayda, Josiah, and Judah. Life in our house is full of sports, dance, and lots of love. My connection to Wyatt’s Warriors began years ago, when I sent the very first care package to Wyatt before his open-heart surgery. My son, James, was also born with a congenital heart defect and had two surgeries at birth at the same hospital where Wyatt was treated.

Being part of this foundation has come full circle for me — what started as one care package has grown into something that continues to touch so many families. I’m grateful to serve on the board and to help carry forward Wyatt’s legacy through hope, love, and support for others walking a similar journey.
